Sunderland face a big test of their League One promotion credentials this afternoon, as they travel to St Andrew's to face Coventry City.

A run of just one defeat in their last 15 league games has propelled Phil Parkinson's side up the third-tier table, and they go into this one fifth in the League One standings, three points behind their hosts today, who currently sit in the second automatic promotion place.

As a result, this is unlikely to be an easy task for the Black Cats today, but it is also one that presents them with an opportunity, since a win over Coventry would see Sunderland move above them in the table on goal difference.

Perhaps with that in mind, Parkinson has named an unchanged side from the one that snatched a last gasp equaliser to draw 1-1 with Fleetwood in midweek, and beat Bristol Rovers 3-0 the weekend before, although one notable alteration on the bench sees Will Grigg return to the matchday squad for the first time in ten games.

Taking to Twitter to react to their team news ahead of the game, plenty of Sunderland fans were keen to give their views on how their side lines up for today's match.

Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
