West Bromwich Albion host Hull City on Saturday as they search for their first Championship win of the season.

The Baggies were held to a goalless draw by Cardiff City in midweek as their troubles in front of goal continued.

Despite creating plenty of chances, Albion are yet to score more than one goal in a game this season and that is central to why they've come away with a loss and three draws from their first four league games in 2022/23.

Hull, on the other hand, have ridden their luck at times but sit second in the Championship due to their unbeaten start to the new campaign.

Bruce will not want to underestimate the Tigers and, with that in mind, here is the XI we believe he will name on Saturday...

David Button has been Albion's clear number one this season and is on course to start between the sticks once again after keeping his first clean sheet of 2022/23 on Wednesday evening.

Ahead of him, Bruce is likely to opt for an unchanged backline with Darnell Furlong and Conor Townsend once again in at full-back while Dara O'Shea and Semi Ajayi should reprise their central roles.

However, it would not be a surprise to see the Baggies coach look to freshen things up in the midfield after they played Cardiff in midweek.

The energy of Jayson Molumby will be useful against the Tigers and he may well get the nod alongside Okay Yokuslu in place of Jake Livermore.

There are few better creative trios than Grady Diangana, John Swift, and Jed Wallace in the Championship and they will hope to cause the Hull defence some serious issues at The Hawthorns.

With Daryl Dike injured and Kenneth Zohore out of favour, Karlan Grant will surely start up top once again.

He is Albion's top scorer this season, with two goals in five games, but has not been clinical enough.

If Grant makes the most of his chances against the Tigers, Bruce will likely get his first win of the 2022/23 campaign.
