League One side MK Dons have signed 21-year old striker Tom Hitchcock on a three-year deal following his release from QPR, according to Sky Sports.
The 21-year old striker spent this past season out on loan to newly promoted Championship side Rotherham United and had a good half season with the team.
During his time at Rotherham he made 19 league appearances and was able to score nine goals.
He later returned to QPR but was released from his contract and has been searching for a new club for just over a week. But, his search has finally come to an end.
MK Dons have managed to fight off interest from others to land the highly rated striker on a three-year deal.
MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told the club website, “Tom is somebody who I spoke to over the summer and he intrigued me.
“There are a number of strikers that we have looked at but the thing about Tom is, he’s a natural goalscorer and the types of goals he scores are unique.
“He fits into the mould of player we’re trying to sign – he’s hungry, he’s enthusiastic and he’s a very talented individual.”
