Sheffield United will welcome back Ben Osborn for tomorrow's game against Hull City, although the game will come too soon for Ben Davies.

Slavisa Jokanovic's side have improved considerably since returning from the international break, but a stoppage time equaliser from Preston prevented the Blades from making it back-to-back wins.

However, they will be focused on the Tigers now, and reporter Richard Sutcliffe revealed there was a mixed injury update after speaking to the boss ahead of the fixture.

"Ben Osborn available after missing PNE draw with illness. Ben Davies back "soon" from calf injury, though doesn't sound like this weekend.

Enda Stevens had 1st training session today after summer hernia op. Jayden Bogle ill."

The return of Osborn will give the Serbian food for thought as the former Nottingham Forest man was excellent in the 6-2 win against Peterborough United, where he scored, before missing the game against North End.

Sander Berge is another who will be pushing for a place in the XI after scoring after coming on as a sub in the week.

The verdict

Davies' absence will be felt because you would've imagined that he would've gone straight into the team considering that the Blades haven't looked solid defensively.

Overall though, Jokanovic has a very talented squad to choose from and Osborn's return means he has a real dilemma when it comes to picking the side against Hull.

With this a third game in a week, you would expect changes but there is plenty of depth to this Sheffield United squad, particularly going forward.
