Charlton Athletic were beaten 1-0 by Sheffield Wednesday last night and many Addicks fans have been calling for the return of missing man Naby Sarr.

Steven Fletcher's 95th-minute header gave Garry Monk's side their first win in their last seven games.

It was a heartbreaking blow for the Addicks but perhaps a deserved one as goalkeeper Dillon Phillips had denied the home side on a number of occasions.

Lee Bowyer's side are now just two points above the relegation zone, with a string of games against fellow Championship strugglers over the next few weeks.

Fletcher's late header will likely be all the more frustrating given that Sarr, who was not included due to injury, is one of Charlton's biggest aerial threats in both boxes.

The 26-year-old was absent as he is suffering from a tight calf, meaning Jason Pearce stepped up to the side to partner Tom Lockyer at center-back.

Sarr has become an important figure in the backline this season, making 23 appearances in the Championship.
