A compilation of all 31 of Gary Hooper's goals for Sheffield Wednesday has emerged on Twitter, which has left many fans of the Yorkshire club pining over him.

The striker joined from Norwich City in January 2016 for a fee reported to be in the region of £3 million and made 89 appearances for the Owls in total.

Hooper proved a lethal forward at times, scoring 13 goals in his first 29 Championship appearances for the club, but was hampered by injuries throughout his time at Hillsborough.

The 32-year-old was released at the start of the current campaign and has made a fast start to life with A-League side Wellington Pheonix, scoring six goals and providing five assists in his 16 appearances so far.

A compilation of all 31 of Hooper's goals for the Owls was posted on Twitter yesterday and appears to have drawn a somewhat frustrated response from fans of the Yorkshire club.

Outside Steven Fletcher, none of Garry Monk's striking options have been particularly impressive this season.

Sam Winnall, Jordan Rhodes, Atdhe Nuhiu, and Connor Wickham have scored just seven goals between them in their combined 62 appearances this term.

Has Fernando Forestieri done these 11 things at Sheffield Wednesday? Have a go now!

Many Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to suggest that Hooper could have contributed and reveal that they wish he was still at the club.
