Barnsley enjoyed a huge result on Saturday, as they ran out 3-1 winners over Hull City at Oakwell.

Alex Mowatt gave the Tykes a half time lead with a strike midway through the opening 45, before Mike Bahre doubled their lead with just a quarter of an hour remaining.

Teenage substitute Keane Lewis-Potter pulled one back for Hull with less than ten minutes remaining, but Conor Chaplin sealed the three points for the hosts with a stunning effort late in stoppage time.

That win means that Barnsley have ended a run of 18 games in all competitions without a victory stretching back to the opening day of the season, and is their first under new boss Gerhard Struber following his appointment late last week.

Although they are still rooted to the foot of the Championship, the Tykes are now just five points from safety, and taking to Twitter to react to the end of their side's long winless run, plenty of the club's fans were understandably delighted with Saturday's result.

Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
