Bolton Wanderers' chances of surviving in League One seem to be fading away each week, as Keith Hill's side continue to struggle.

The Trotters were beaten by play-off chasing Doncaster Rovers in their last game on Tuesday evening, and they'll be hoping they can pick up a much-needed win when they return to action against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.

One player that hasn't had much of a chance to play his part in their fight against survival in the third-tier is Muhammadu Faal, who has only made two substitute appearances since arriving from non-league Enfield Town.

Bolton boss Keith Hill issued a somewhat surprising update on Faal's fitness in an interview with The Bolton News, which is likely to leave some supporters frustrated.

"He (Faal) is not ready, nowhere near ready. He’s on the bench because we have no other options, simple as.

"I don’t want to expose him and I get smashed up and he gets smashed up. I don’t want to do that."

Plenty of Bolton Wanderers fans took to social media to issue their thoughts on Hill's recent update on Faal's chances of featuring for the Trotters senior side this term.
