Derby County will be desperate to get back to winning ways as they take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

The Rams have got off to a torrid start to the season after picking up just one victory from their opening 12 games in the Championship so far.

After Phillip Cocu's sacking the club have played just one game which was a defeat to Bristol City on Saturday - a result that Wayne Rooney will look to improve on as he continues his audition for the managers' job.

Here's the team that he's selected to face the Teessiders.

The Rams have made just one change for this evening's clash.

Kamil Jozwiak comes into the starting XI for this one, while Duane Holmes comes out of the team and drops to the bench.

While Rooney has kept changes to a minimum, it seems that some supporters are less-than impressed.

The absence of Krystian Bielik and Graeme Shinnie from the starting XI are decisions that have been picked out as areas where Derby could come unstuck against the Teessiders.

Not to mention Rooney's decision to name himself in the side.

Here's what a selection of supporters have had to say on Twitter.
