Millwall goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski has claimed that he is enjoying his football and has improved his form since moving to the London club.

At first, the Polish keeper joined on loan from League One side Ipswich Town, but in January his move was made permanent after he impressed for the Lions.

The 32-year-old has been the Championship side's number one for the whole campaign and has produced a string of impressive performances, particularly against teams such as Leeds United and Bristol City.

He's conceded just 35 goals in the Championship this season and kept eight clean sheets helping Millwall push for a place in the top-six.

Bialkowski has stated that he knew he could still do a good job in the Championship, but needed to play consistently. He also expressed the joy he's currently feeling playing for Millwall.

Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, Bialkowski said: "Form is temporary and class is permanent. I knew I was still a good goalie who could do a good job in the Championship. I think this is maybe the most consistently I've played.

"I've made a couple of mistakes this season but I've played about 30 games and have been happy with the way I've played in them.

"I'm enjoying football again and doing well and that's great."

The Verdict

Bialkowski's been brilliant in the current campaign, and showed how much better he can be if he's playing consistently and on a regular basis.

It was disappointing to see the way he bowed out at Ipswich, and the relegation would have effected both his mindset and confidence.

Now, he seems to be back to his best and has put in some impressive performances for Rowett's side.

It's set to be a really interesting few months at Millwall and he'll be hoping that he can play a part in a surprise play-off push.
