Play-off chasing Millwall host promotion favourites West Brom at The Den on Sunday afternoon in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

The Lions have drawn their last two league games 0-0, and will be hoping they can take something from the game against Slaven Bilic's side this weekend.

Millwall are currently sat 9th in the Championship table, and are just five points adrift of the play-off positions, so a top-six finish certainly shouldn't be ruled out by any stretch of the imagination.

Football League World will be reporting live from The Den for the Sunday afternoon kick-off at 1:30pm, so we've gathered everything you need to know in the build-up to this one.

In the last game between the two sides, Millwall ran out narrow 2-1 winners at The Hawthorns in the EFL Cup, which came after a 1-1 draw in their league game in August as Matt Smith snatched a late equaliser for the Lions.

Unsurprisingly, it is West Brom that have scored more goals this season, with their top goalscorer Charlie Austin scoring eight of their 53 goals so far in the Championship this term.

Whereas winger Jed Wallace is leading the way for Gary Rowett's side, scoring ten goals so far this season, and the Baggies will be well-aware of the threat that the midfielder poses to their side.

West Brom are currently sat top of the Championship table, and will be hoping to extend the gap over their promotion rivals with a positive result at The Den on Sunday afternoon, but it won't be an easy game at all.  Millwall are ninth in the second tier standings, and will fancy their chances of causing Slaven Bilic's side some problems on the day.

Both sides are starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel in terms of injuries which will be pleasing to see as they head into the final three months of the 2019/20 season.

It has recently been revealed by Slaven Bilic that Kieran Gibbs is set to return to first team training in the near future, and he'll be challenging Conor Townsend for a starting spot in Slaven Bilic's squad.

Millwall remain without Ben Thompson through injury, but both Mason Bennett and Ryan Leonard are edging closer to being deemed fit enough for action, but it seems unlikely that they'll be starting in Gary Rowett's squad this season, with the Lions boss revealing that they could be in line to return to the matchday squad.

It'll be interesting to see what approach Gary Rowett takes, as they have often not seen the majority of the possession in their league games. The Lions have an average possession each game of 43.6%, and with West Brom averaging 54.4%, the Baggies will be keen to assert their dominance on proceedings early on at The Den on Sunday afternoon.

It's set to be a closely-fought battle between the two sides this season, and a win for West Brom could go a long way in deciding which division they're playing their football in next year's campaign.

Millwall have their own ambitions of finishing inside the top-six this term, and if they can pick up a positive result against the Baggies, then they could well be in with a chance of challenging for the play-offs this term.
