Football League World will be at the Den on Saturday as 10th-place Millwall host seventh-place Bristol City, with both sides looking to kick-start their play-off push.

Both sides are at risk of seeing their top-six aspirations fade away after struggling in recent weeks.

Gary Rowett's side climbed the table during the festive period but have stumbled slightly since the turn of the year, winning just once in the last month.

They welcome a City side that are bereft of form and confidence to the Den on Saturday. Lee Johnson's men have lost three on the bounce and were absolutely dreadful in their 2-1 loss to Huddersfield Town in midweek.

The Robins January signings are yet to really find their feet and the South West side look like they're on another winless run, the like of which saw them miss out on the play-offs last season.

With a tough run-in ahead of them, including the likes of Nottingham Forest and Fulham, this looks like it could be City's most important game of the season.

A victory could be just what they need to help them bounce back and launch a serious siege on the top six, while another loss will see their heads drop even further.

Defeat for the Lions could see them slide nine points away from the play-offs, which will make a top-six finish very, very difficult.

Millwall controlled the game against Birmingham City in midweek but were unable to find a breakthrough, so you feel that the only change we're likely to see is Tom Bradshaw in for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

Jed Wallace, who has 10 goals and seven assists to his name this season, is likely to be the danger man for the Lions but has not looked quite himself in recent weeks.

Predicting Johnson's XI is a much harder as at the moment, it seems like he doesn't know himself. The 5-3-2 set up didn't work against the Terriers, so you feel we could see a switch back to a 4-4-2 with all the key men involved.

Nahki Wells has not quite hit his stride yet but he has 14 goals in the Championship this season, while the likes of Niclas Eliasson, Andreas Weimann, and Famara Diedhiou are all capable of winning this one for City

It looks set to be a decisive day in the Robins' season but Millwall will be desperate for a win to keep their play-off dreams alive.

Everything is set up for a thriller at the Den.
