Millwall are taking a look at the possibility of signing midfielder Owen Garvan from Crystal Palace, but will face competition from their Championship rivals for his signature.
Garvan thrived under current Millwall boss Ian Holloway during their time together at Crystal Palace when Holloway led the club to the Premier League in the 2012/2013 season.
However, to some bemusement, the Irishman didn’t feature in Palace’s 25 man squad last season therefore was unavailable for selection. Current boss Tony Pulis is willing to let Garvan leave the club as he looks to move on some fringe players.
Holloway signed Garvan at the tail-end of last season to help steer Millwall away from the Championship relegation battle, and will hoping that his close relationship with the 25 year old will pay dividends as he bids to bolster his squad for this years campaign.
