Millwall’s positive start to the new season went south this week after returning to London following two away defeats in a row.

Neil Harris’ men fell to a 2-1 reverse at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday evening, before a 1-0 defeat to Rotherham United on Sunday.

In this next round-up, we take a quick spin through all things Millwall from the past week.

It was a week to forget for the Lions fans who made two trips to Yorkshire in four days and were served up with two consecutive defeats.

In between the defeats, meanwhile, an almost 30-year record was finally broken by the club.

After a summer-long pursuit, Tom Bradshaw finally signed for Millwall after the club had several bids rejected before the permanent deadline passed.

The Lions new No.14 has signed initially on loan until January, with a club-record deal to be completed in January.

Paul Goddard was the previous recored-holder, singing from Derby for £800,000 back in 1989, but it is now the former Barnsley striker who has signed for what is reported to be in excess of £1m.

Despite the double defeat, several Millwall players have been called up for international duty next month.

Shaun Willians and Aiden O’Brien have been called up for the Republic of Ireland

Jordan Archer has been called up by Scotland.

Meanwhile, Shane Ferguson, Conor McLaughlin and George Saville have been handed a call-up by Northern Ireland.

Onto transfer news now, involving the aforementioned Saville.

Middlesbrough have reignited their interest in the midfielder, who is reported to want a move to the Riverside to start a new challenge.

The 25-year-old will only leave if there the Harris can get in a replacement ahead of the loan window closing Friday.

And finally, away from the pitch, former Millwall captain Tony Craig took time out from his busy life with current side Bristol Rovers to visit young fan, Harvey Brown.

Millwall fan Harvey, who suffers from Morquio, which affects just 77 children in the UK, is currently having Vimizim Infusion Treatment after it was allowed thanks to a petition signed by thousands, which went to parliament.

Despite plying his trade at a new club in a different part of the country, it is heartwarming that the Millwall legend has taken time out to spend time with a young fan, who is well known to the football club.
