Millwall’s currently sit in the bottom three of the division ahead of the visit of Aston Villa this Saturday.

It has been a mixed week for the Lions having blown a lead at home late on to Sheffield United to lose before fighting back from two goals down to draw with Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

Neil Harris will be hoping that the result at the City ground is the turning point in what has so far been a pretty poor season.

In this next round-up, we take a quick spin through all things Millwall from the past week.

Defeat to Sheffield United last weekend dropped the Lions into the relegation zone for the first time since their return to the second tier.

Having been 2-1 up, a late collapse at home for the fifth game in a row saw Harris’ men drop even more points, and he gave an honest interview as to the reasons for the defeat after the game.

With Saturday’s loss behind them, Millwall turned their full attention to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening.

Having battered their hosts in front of goal, the Lions found themselves 2-0 down with 20 minutes left.

It was a case of deja vu for Millwall, but what would follow would be specular by the visitors.

All too often this season, Harris’ men have been on the wrong end of late goals. On this occasion, however, they were the beneficiaries of such a fate.

Lee Gregory scored a 91st-minute winner to rescue a point that was very much deserved.

And the Millwall supporters were understandably delighted.

Not only did the fans express their delight but somewhat of a rare occurrence from the Lions players, a couple of them took to Twitter after the stunning comeback.

Wednesday’s match did not go without a hitch, however, when the game was stopped for 15 minutes after the floodlights in one of the City Ground’s stands decided to stop working.

The players were taken off the pitch, and Millwall conceded within a minute of play being resumed, but they had the last laugh with Gregory’s late equaliser.

And Millwall released images from the draw that shows the relief in the eyes of the players after the goal.

And finally, ahead of the next batch of international fixtures next week, four Millwall players have so far been called up to represent their respective countries.

Aiden O’Brien and Shaun Williams have been called up to the Republic of Ireland team.

With Shane Ferguson and Conor McLaughlin, meanwhile, have been picked to represent Northern Ireland next week.
