It's been a good season for Millwall so far in the Championship and if the latest story goes their way it could become that bit more memorable.

The men from The Den have been solid - particularly at home - and that has ensured that so far they have managed to keep pretty clear of the drop zone.

They'll be pretty confident they can remain above it for the rest of the campaign, too, as it looks like they might be about to seal the eye-catching transfer of Tim Cahill.

Of course, the Australian is not the player he was but he'll still bring plenty to the table as he aims to make the Australia World Cup squad for the summer.

And, according to Sky Sports News, he is flying in for talks with the Lions ahead of a potential deal:

Cahill, of course, was with the Lions a good few years ago now as he begun to make a name for himself in English football and from there he played in the Premier League - most notably with Everton.

He could be back at The Den for the coming months, though, and it'll be interesting to see how the veteran performs for his old club.
