Neil Harris is looking for consistency from his Millwall team as they travel to Luton Town tonight in the Championship.

A rare win for Wigan at home to Birmingham last night dragged both Millwall and Luton closer to the Championship relegation zone. Millwall go into the game tonight with a five-point buffer from Huddersfield in 22nd, with Luton ahead in 18th only on goal difference.

Lions’ boss Harris has said his side, who are without a win since mid-August, need to be more consistent in matches:

“I would strive for more consistent levels over the course of 90 minutes. In the first half we were dominating, barring a five minute spell where Huddersfield scored against the run of play.”

At Huddersfield on Saturday, Frazier Campbell gave the Terriers a first-half lead, before Matt Smith scored his third goal of the season to level things in the second.

“You want consistent levels but we couldn’t reach those levels in the second half” said Harris. “Huddersfield were a bit better – we were poor with the ball in the second half, we gave it away too cheaply.”

“I spoke afterwards about taking care of the football to build chances. We finished the game with 10 men for the last 15 minutes. It is a positive we have to build on.”

Tonight’s task will be a tough one for Harris and his side - the two teams havent met in the league since the 2007/08 season where both fixtures finished as draws.

Millwall will be hoping that Smith, who’s been directly involved in over 70% of Millwall’s goals with three goals and two assists, can halt their winless away run of nine.

Meanwhile, Luton have failed to keep a clean sheet in 12, though a 2-1 win at Blackburn last Saturday will give them hope of a good result tonight.
