Millwall have had a good start to life under manager Gary Rowett and that has seen them win three of their last four Championship fixtures.

The Lions have been very good in recent weeks, and since Rowett has taken they've managed to pick up nine points from a possible 12 available to them.

This will give the supporters much more optimism going into the rest of the season, as the good run of form has seen them sit in 10th place in the table with hopes that they can continue to find victories in their upcoming fixtures.

One massive positive for the side in their most recent victory, was the simple fact that it was away from home. The Lions managed to record a 1-0 win at Swansea on Saturday, and it was huge in terms of getting that horrible stat of their back.

Rowett's side hadn't won away all season, but managed to claim all three points thanks to a quite stunning free-kick for midfielder Jed Wallace. He hit it sweetly and it flew in to the top corner to send the travelling supporters wild.

The new manager knew that he had to sort the away form out and made it one of his biggest priorities as he looks to help Millwall push up the table. The fans have taken to him, and will be delighted with the manner of the victory on Saturday, as tactically, Rowett got it spot on and managed to halt a very strong Swansea side.
