Millwall currently sit in 15th place following their derby win against Charlton Athletic on Saturday and could move to within four points of the top-six if they beat Swansea City after the international break.

Everything is going well for Gary Rowett so far with the win against the Addicks making it two from his first three as they start to climb away from a relegation scrap.

With the January transfer window now just over a month away, the Lions will almost be certainly plotting how they can improve their squad further.

However, some concerning news emerged first. On Thursday the East Anglian Daily Times revealed that Rowett had concerns over the furure of star goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

The shot-stopper has quickly become a fan favourite at The Den since arriving on a season-long loan deal from The Tractor Boys during the summer, but Rowett believes his parent club Ipswich Town could be tempted to sell him to a rival in the upcoming transfer window.

So far this season, the 32-year-old has starred in every single league game, keeping three clean sheets and conceding 22 goals in that time.

Before leaving East Anglia, the Pole had made 178 appearances for Ipswich, keeping 41 cleansheets, but opted to push for a move in the summer following their relegation.

But how should the Millwall fans be feeling about their manager's comments?

I think they have every right to be concerned about the future of the player, especially as this is something that Rowett says the club are planning for.

It would be surprising to see Bialkowski himself push for that move away, considering his age and also how important he has become to the South Londoners over the course of this season, but the fact that it is something troubling those higher up in the club should be of concern.

You would back the club to find a replacement, but would they be able to find an upgrade? I seriously doubt it.

Bialkowski is, afterall, one of the most proven stoppers currently playing in the second-tier and there are not too many of them available at all.
