Millwall have only lost one in four this season since Gary Rowett was appointed manager, and the Lions now travel to fourth-placed Swansea City this weekend.

However, Rowett's men hit the road with one of the worst away records in the division, as they are yet to win away from home in eight attempts this season, having drawn four and lost four.

Lions supporters would have been fearing the trip, but they are journeying across to south Wales to face Swansea, who have had an indifferent start to the season at The Liberty Stadium since Steve Cooper was appointed during the summer.

The Swans have only won four game on their home turf out of eight in the Championship this season, and just one of them wins have come in the last five encounters in front of their own supporters.

Rowett has got Millwall playing some good football that is currently getting results during the early part of his reign, and Lions supporters will be travelling to the high-flying Swansea with an air of optimism about them as this weekend could finally be the moment they end their poor away day run.

Millwall fans will be travelling in good numbers to get behind their team, and the away support that the Lions take away could be enough to spur the players out on the pitch on as Rowett will be more keen than anyone to try and put Millwall's poor away form behind them and finally get that first away win on the board.

The Lions supporters know that Swansea is bound to be a tough test away from home, with the Swans being one of the best teams in the league and having the home advantage with a vocal fanbase behind them.

However, Millwall fans can travel to Swansea with no real high expectations of taking the three points back to London with them and they won't be heaping the pressure on the players to go out and put on a remarkable showing.

Instead, there will be optimism from the away section, and hope that the Lions can pull off a shock result the longer Millwall stay in the contest.
