Championship side Millwall are looking at Yeovil Town winger Myles Hippolyte as the Lions aim for the dizzy heights of the Premier League.

Reported by The Sun, Yeovil could be close to losing one of their star players if Millwall make a sufficient offer.

The 25-year-old winger has scored twice in 27 National League appearances this season having signed for the club in the summer, and he has become a major part of Darren Sarll's revolution at Huish Park so far during the current campaign.

Hippolyte rose through the ranks with Brentford having been born in London, but he failed to make a mark on the Bees first-team at Griffin Park and he ended up having loan spells away from the club.

The winger moved north of the border and signed for Livingston in 2014, where he went on to represent Falkirk, St Mirren and Dunfermline Athletic in the second tier of Scottish football as he had found himself settling into Scottish football well before choosing to move back down south.

Since Gary Rowett's appointment at Millwall in October, the Lions haven't lost a league game across the past two months and are now just a point off of the Championship playoff places.

The Verdict

Hippolyte could be a good signing for Millwall as he would prove a hunger and desire to make it in the Football League.

As well as bringing the right attitude, he would have a bit of quality about him and wouldn't be too expensive coming from a National League side, in terms of transfer fee or wages.
