Millwall have confirmed that Junior Tiensia has joined  National League South side Havant & Waterlooville on loan until the end of the season.

The left-back has been a regular with the Lions' under-23 side this season and is now getting his first experience of senior football.

The youngster signed his first professional contract last month in a deal that will see him remain at The Den until the summer of 2021.

Havant are looking to maintain a spot in the play-offs during the final couple of months as they sit fourth in the table with 55 points and are just two points behind Slough Town and Bath City.

The Hawks suffered relegation last season when they finished 22nd in the National League which brought their one-year stay in the top flight of non-league football to a close.

The Verdict

Tiensia is joining an experienced squad at a good level that he will learn a lot from over the next few months.

He will be determined to leave an impression upon the Havant squad if he is handed an opportunity to play games by manager Doswell in what could be a successful season for the club.

The defender joins Havant at a good time and he will want to get his senior career off to the best possible start.
