Millwall manager Neil Harris has expressed his excitement in welcoming back the club’s six participants in the recent international fixtures, in a Tweet released by the club on their official Twitter page.
The Lions six international contingent included Northern Irish trio George Saville, Conor McLaughlin and Shane Ferguson, who were the first three Millwall players ever to feature in the same international match.

The trio suffered back to back losses at home to Germany and away at Norway, but are now assured of a place in the World Cup play offs, with a two-legged fixture deciding whether Michael O’Neill’s men will make the Finals or not.
Millwall have exceeded all expectations so far this season with a series of impressive displays, and lie in mid-table following the opening eleven fixtures of the new campaign.
A home defeat to Barnsley in their final game before the international break will have come as a huge disappointment to Harris, whose side face a tough trip to Brentford on Saturday.
Millwall have played some excellent football this season, and there have not been many games in which Harris’ side have lost in which they have been completely outclassed by their opposition.
The return of his international stars with a clean bill of health will come as a relief to the former Millwall striker, who will hope that his side can pick up a result against a Brentford side still looking for their first home win of the season.
Many had tipped the Lions to struggle at the higher level this season following their promotion via the League One play offs, but based on their performances so far, it appears the London side should be just fine.
