Miller turns down Donny move

Former West Brom striker Ishmael Miller has turned down a move to Doncaster in favour of talks with Championship crisis club Blackpool, according to the Doncaster Free Press.

After a decent loan spell at Yeovil from Nottingham Forest, scoring ten goals in 20 appearances for the Glovers as they unsuccesfully tried to beat the drop, Miller is now a free agent after his contract at Forest expired.

Miller was Yeovil's top scorer in 2013/14.

Miller did have interest mainly from League One, but the 27 year old favoured a move to a Championship club, and the striker is in talks with The Seasiders after spurning advances from Doncaster.

Doncaster Free Press understands that Miller’s wage demands were likely to be too big for Donny as they fight to return to the Championship at the first time of asking, and Dickov wanted Miller to replace the outgoing Chris Brown, who has made a move to Blackburn Rovers.
