When Reading striker George Puscas arrived at the Madejski Stadium this summer, he made an instant impact.

The 23-year-old striker joined the Royals from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window and scored three goals in his first three appearances for the club - including a brace in the 3-0 win over Cardiff City on his first Championship start.

The Romanian international has been an important player for Reading so far this season, although he has struggled to maintain the form he displayed in his first few matches.

The striker ended a run of ten games without a goal for his club against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night, as Reading continued their unbeaten start to life under new manager Mark Bowen.

Things could have worked out very different for Puscas this season though, as he was strongly linked with a move to Birmingham City during the summer transfer window.

Blues have made an encouraging start to their new season in the Championship and are currently 11th in the league table, just three points the play-offs.

BluesHQ on Twitter asked Birmingham fans if they think the club will regret not pushing harder to sign Puscas in the summer and plenty of fans were quick to respond to the question.

Many fans claimed that Puscas would regret signing for Reading over Birmingham, as he would have scored more goals already this season for them.
