Bolton captain Darren Pratley believes that Bolton have what it takes to get a result against Leeds.

Bolton continue to confound expectations along with the other teams that got promoted from League One last season, because they currently sit in 19th place with a six point gap on the relegation spots.

They are actually the lowest out of the three promoted teams because Sheffield United are in ninth and Millwall are in tenth.

However, Phil Parkinson has done brilliantly with the meagre budget at his disposal.

Pratley has been at the club for seven years as well as being captain for a number of seasons.

Therefore, he has a good understanding of the squad as well as the likelihood of staying up because he has already experienced relegation with the Trotters.

Here's what he had to say about the Leeds clash according to the Bolton News as quoted by the official Bolton Wanderers site: "I think we’ve got the experience to go to a place like Leeds and a full house and handle it, no problem."

"Over the last couple of games the gaffer has probably picked his most experienced team and we’ve been playing well and been picking points up away from home too."

The Verdict

Pratley emphasised the importance of the experience in the team in helping them through the upcoming tough away games. He is right to point that out because it's a key reason behind their current position in the table.

They have every right to be confident going in to the Leeds clash because they are unbeaten in their last three games while Leeds have lost three of their last four games. They need points to assure safety and this is a good opportunity to come away with a win.
