Sheffield United secured a big win on Saturday to get their first points of the season against QPR, which lifted the mood around the club.

The Blades are looking to build on what was a successful first season back in the Championship in the previous campaign, with Chris Wilder targeting quality over quantity in the window so far.

That has been evident with their arrivals, with Ben Woodburn from Liverpool a real coup for the club, whilst Oliver Norwood is a very smart signing too having joined earlier in the week.

And, Wilder might not be done yet. He still has over two weeks to search for loan deals and may feel that further additions are needed given the manner of defeats to Swansea and Middlesbrough.

If that is the case, departures could be inevitable too.

Here we will look at TWO players who could leave Bramall Lane. Whilst Wilder might not want to lose them, this duo should want to go and get regular football elsewhere...

The former Burnley full-back has barely featured at all since the club were promoted to the second-tier, with Enda Stevens the preferred choice on the left.

That seems unlikely to change now, with Lafferty failing to play a minute in this campaign.

At 29, he needs to play football now and that's not going to happen with the Yorkshire club.

Similarly, Leonard is going to struggle to get game time.

So far this season, he has featured on two occasions in the Championship, but the arrival of Norwood, who is an excellent buy, will push the former Southend man further down the pecking order.

Wilder may want to keep hold of Leonard, who could be a useful squad player over the season, but the reality is there are many options ahead of him and the player should look to establish himself as a regular this season elsewhere.
