Football League World head to The Riverside Stadium today as Middlesbrough host Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.

The Teessiders have enjoyed a decent run of form in the last month, but last week's draw with Birmingham City was a result which took their current run to four without a win.

That 1-1 draw with the Blues was a decent result in isolation, but the hope will now be to get back to winning ways.

After a difficult start to life in the hot-seat, Woodgate has really found his feet and looks to be leading the team into an exciting period of change.

A number of young players have been handed a chance under the Middlesbrough favourite, and while injuries have played a part in that, those prospects will be hoping that the Boro boss doesn't look to rotate them out of the team for the clash with the Blues.

For Blackburn it's been a positive run of late.

Back-to-back victories have moved Tony Mowbray's side up to 10th in the Championship and with just four points between them and the play-offs they'll be hoping that they can be this season's play-off dark horses.

As our graphic shows, Blackburn have been heavily reliant on Bradley Dack and Adam Armstrong so far this term, but with the former facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines it's meant that other plays have needed to step up to the plate.

Injuries to Corry Evans and Joe Rothwell are also a real blow going into this one.

Can you remember these former Middlesbrough strikers? Let's find out!

Jonathan Woodgate could welcome Dael Fry and Britt Assombalonga back into the side after injury, however they will be without the likes of Daniel Ayala, Anfernee Dijksteel and Patrick Roberts who are all long-term absentees.

Ryan Shotton and George Friend are back in training but won't be passed fit for this one.

Both sides need the win for different reasons, and you can't help but feel that the clash between Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers could have goals aplenty.
