Middlesbrough star Rudy Gestede has delivered his latest upbeat update as he continues to recover from injury.
The Boro forward was enjoying a good spell in the side under Tony Pulis before a fractured ankle ended his season early last month.
Since then, he has undergone surgery and begun his recovery whilst also taking time to update fans regularly during his rehabilitation period.
Indeed, it has provided a nice insight into what goes on for a player as they work their way back from a lengthy injury and the powerful forward has remained upbeat throughout as he continues his programme.
Here, then, is his latest post for Boro fans on his official Twitter account:
Certainly, Gestede has painted a positive picture during his recovery and fans will surely be looking to seeing him back on the field.
At times he has struggled in this country but under Tony Pulis he looked a real handful and so the sooner he is back the better for the club.
The Verdict
This is nice to see.
Not only does it provide direct updates to fans about how one of their players is getting on but it also surely gives Gestede an outlet during what must still be a frustrating time for him.
He's still got plenty of recovery to do but it looks as though he is ready for the challenge and approaching it positively.
