Middlesbrough could make a big money move for Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor, according to the Sunday Mirror (Print edition, Sunday 18th June 2017).

Former Leeds manager Garry Monk, now in charge of Boro, is hoping to land the highly rated Taylor, and is reportedly armed with a £20m war chest which he hopes to be able to use to tempt away some of his former clubs top players.

The report also claims that Monk wants to sign defender Kyle Bartley, who he had on loan from Swansea City last season.

However, it is the signing of Taylor which will cause most surprise and shock to fans, after Taylor looked to be at odds with Monk last term, being left out of the squad towards the end of the season for apparently refusing to play.

Leeds are still reeling from the loss of Monk, and have recently appointed Thomas Christiansen to take over the reigns at Elland Road ahead of what they hope will be another successful campaign in the Championship.

Leeds fans, what do you think to this? Bad news, or a good deal for the club? Let us know in the comments!
