Kenneth Zohore remains a "live target" for Middlesbrough, however they still face strong competition from Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County, according to the Northern Echo.

Zohore's future at the Hawthorns looks uncertain, with West Bromwich Albion looking to bring in Huddersfield Town's Karlan Grant.

This arrival would push Zohore further down the pecking order under Slaven Bilic, with the likes of Callum Robinson, Charlie Austin and Hal Robson-Kanu ahead of him.

Quiz: 6 of these Derby County facts are false – Can you identify them?

Zohore has scored five goals in 20 appearances for West Brom since making the £8million move to the Hawthorns from Cardiff City last summer, and has been linked with moves away this summer.

According to the Northern Echo, Middlesbrough remain interested in signing Zohore, as Neil Warnock plots a reunion with the striker after recently confirming that he is on the lookout for another striker.

The Northern Echo also claim that Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County are interested in signing the 26-year-old, with his signature believed to be in high demand.

The Verdict

I think a move to either of these sides would be a good move for Zohore.

The three sides in pursuit of Zohore need to add another striker, and Warnock is a manager who knows how to get the best out of him. They need to add competition for Britt Assombalonga and Ashley Fletcher.

Derby also need to replace Chris Martin, and with Martyn Waghorn struggling with injury in the early stages of the season, a new centre-forward is definitely needed to provide cover for Jack Marriott.
