Middlesbrough defender open to January return to Fulham

Fulham left-back James Husband, who is on loan from Middlesbrough, would be happy to return to Craven Cottage when the transfer window opens in January, according to Sky Sports.

His deal at Craven Cottage runs out on the 13th December and he will be unable to move back to Fulham until the transfer window opens in January.

The 21-year-old full-back will play his last game for the West London side against Brentford on Saturday and will then return to Teesside for the foreseeable future.

This is Husbands second loan spell with the club after playing for them last season. He has made 12 appearances for the club since joining the Whites in August and they currently sit in 16th in the Championship.

Fulham have recently recruited former Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray as their new senior coach, following the sacking of Kit Symons at the start of November.

A deal for the Middlesbrough left-back could be put in place as he has enjoyed a successful spell with the club and has found game time hard to come by with George Friend in front of him.
