Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough are confident of keeping hold of winger Adam Traore, despite interest from the likes of Wolves and Huddersfield.

In a report in the Northern Echo, the impressive wide player has reportedly been impressing in pre season with his attitude towards training and manager Tony Pulis, meaning the club are ever confident of the club being able to keep hold of their star man.

Traore was instrumental last season as Boro made it into the top six before losing out in the playoffs to Aston Villa.

The flying Traore has grown into one of the most dangerous players outside the Premier League thanks to some scintillating performances for Boro over the last 12 months.

He intially moved over to England in a move to Aston Villa, but struggled to make an impact at Villa Park before moving to Boro as part of the deal which saw Albert Adomah go the other way.

Traore made his breakthrough into football with Barcelona but struggled to break into the Catalan club's starting line up. He has earnt two caps for the Spanish under-21 team.

Boro will be hoping to resist any offers for Traore in the coming weeks as they look to mount another run at promotion
