Sheffield Wednesday have seen their late charge for a play-off place fade in recent weeks with dropped points in crucial games.

The Owls had put together a fine run of form under new manager Steve Bruce but ultimately found themselves coming up short just when it mattered.

However, things are really looking up for Wednesday under their new manager, and thFoe addition of some solid signings in January has given Owls fans confidence that Bruce can have a good summer in the market and bring in the right sort of faces to allow them to challenge for the top six next term.

One of those signings was defender Michael Hector, who has been brilliant in his spell at Hillsborough and has clearly endeared himself to both Owls fans and players along the way.

And it's easy to see why too, with Hector using his instagram account today to essentially mock and wind up attacking trio Fernando Forestieri, Adthe Nuhiu, and Lucas Joao in the changing rooms.

In seriousness though with this post, it shows just how good the spirit is among the Wednesday camp at the moment, with 'Fessi' seemingly taking Hector's comments in good spirits.

The Owls fans will delighted to see such a bond between the players, and they'll also be hoping the club can indeed tie Hector down to a more permanent deal come the summer.
