Millwall haven’t been convincing so far this season, with Neil Harris’ side struggling to replicate the form that saw them push for the play-offs last season.

Last year, the Lions surprised most in the Championship by staging a push for the top six during the second-half of the season.

Expectations were beginning to grow at the New Den ahead of this season, but Harris’ side have struggled, with Millwall trying to pull themselves clear of a relegation scrap.

A midweek win over Wigan Athletic helped that cause, and this weekend, Harris’ side have the perfect opportunity to pick up another three points against a struggling Ipswich Town side, who enter the clash without a manager.

Harris’ tactical substitutions were excellent during the week, and it is likely that we will see changes made to the starting XI against Ipswich.

With that in mind, here is how we expect Millwall to line-up…

Faith is with Amos at this moment in time, so expect the goalkeeper to continue.

Romeo completed 90 minutes against Wigan and should start again.

Just how long can Harris stick with Murray Wallace? It’s a selection call that will be giving Harris a headache, but for us, Hutchinson has to return.

Cooper needs to be alongside Hutchinson if Millwall are to continue their rise up the table.

Ferguson dropped into a deeper position against Millwall, replacing James Meredith.

Expect Harris to use this tactic from the start against Ipswich.

Getting Wallace back to his best will be a priority for Harris so expect him to get plenty more minutes this weekend.

Leonard is featuring pretty regularly in the middle for Millwall and will be key at the weekend.

Fresh from a goalscoring appearance during the week, Williams will be alongside Leonard.

O’Brien was introduced at half-time during the week and linked up well with Ferguson down the left.

Gregory is an important player in this side and will continue.

Morison hasn’t been that impressive this season, but he will take confidence from his winner in the week.
