It has been a long two weeks for Leeds United’s supporters, as they wait for news on the appointment of their new head-coach.

Paul Heckingbottom left Elland Road on June 1st, with Leeds currently the only club in the Sky Bet Championship without a manager in place.

However, this morning, there appears to have been a major breakthrough, with reports confirming that Leeds are on the verge of appointing Marcelo Bielsa.

The 62-year-old has been in discussions with Leeds for some time now, but an announcement could be made later today, as Leeds’ preparations for the 2018/19 campaign enter full swing.

Bielsa is an ex-Argentina manager, who has also spent time with the Chilean national side, with his potential arrival sparking excitement at Elland Road.

With reports suggesting an announcement will be imminent, there has been plenty of reaction across social media this morning.
