Troy Parrott is set to undergo a medical at MK Dons today ahead of a loan move from Tottenham, according to Mike McGrath.

Parrott spent last season out on loan, spending the first half of the campaign in the Championship with Millwall and making 14 appearances in total.

The 19-year-old then spent the second half of the season in League One with Ipswich, scoring two goals in a total of 18 appearances.

Parrott now looks set to spend another season out on loan, with League One side MK Dons edging closer to his acquiring his signature.

According to Mike McGrath, Parrott is set to undergo a medical at MK Dons today as he looks to add the finishing touches to a move.

MK boss Russell Martin has been a busy man so far this summer, bringing in Mo Eisa from Peterborough United and Max Watters on loan from Cardiff as he looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.

The Verdict

Parrott looks like he'll be a good signing for MK on loan.

He didn't have the greatest of times last season, failing to cut it in the Championship and flattering to deceive in League One with Ipswich.

But he's clearly highly regarded by Spurs for a reason, and it may just be a case of getting out on loan again and putting last season behind him.

MK's style of play will suit him, and he should benefit in a side which likes to create lots of chances for their attacking players in the final third.
