BBC Sport reports that the Northern Ireland Conor McLaughlin full back has agreed new terms on a three year deal with Fleetwood.
The full back has spent the last two seasons impressing at Fleetwood since his switch from Preston North End in July of 2012. He has played a total of forty seven games last season to help the club clinch promotion to Sky Bet League One.
Interest in the full back was reportedly high, with Bristol City keen to tie up a deal, however McLaughlin has committed his future to the Lancashire club
Speaking of his new contract McLaughlin told the club website “It was a hard one to get done because I was obviously away with Northern Ireland in South America, and I’ve been away on holiday the past couple of weeks…I’m really happy to get it done now though.”
