Sunderland and Portsmouth are set to face-off again, as the two teams get their play-off campaign underway on Saturday evening.

It's certain to be a closely-fought battle between the two League One heavyweights at the Stadium of Light, with either side looking to give themselves the advantage heading into the second-leg of the semi-final.

We look at how we can expect Jack Ross' side to line-up for the game this weekend.

It's likely that we'll see a number of changes to the Sunderland starting XI for this game, with Jack Ross opting to rest a number of his key players on the final day of the season.

Full-backs, Bryan Ovideo and Luke O'Nein are almost certain to return to the starting XI for this one, after being rested for their game against Southend.

Tom Flanagan and Alim Ozturk are likely to retain their places in the centre of the Sunderland defence, despite their poor display last weekend.

Lee Cattermole missed the defeat to Southend through injury, but Jack Ross has already revealed that the Black Cats captain is set to return for this one.

There has been real concern over the fitness of Aiden McGeady in recent weeks, with the Irishman not featuring for Jack Ross' squad since the draw with Portsmouth in late April.

He has 11 goals to his name and will be key to the attacking threat posed by Sunderland, alongside the likes of Lewis Morgan and George Honeyman.

Ross has already revealed that McGeady is set to be fit for the game against Portsmouth though, which will be a huge boost to their chances of coming away with a positive result.

Will Grigg will be pushing for a start in this one, and he'll be hoping to provide the goals for Jack Ross' men in a season-defining game.

Ross has a potential selection dilemma though, with Charlie Wyke pushing Grigg for a starting spot.
