Derby have come a long way under the guidance of Steve McClaren following his return to Pride Park earlier this season and the former England manager faces a huge test this weekend, as he comes face-to-face with Derby's arch-enemy Nottingham Forest.

With the advantage over their rivals in the table, Derby could move into the top-six with a victory of other results go their way but must be wary of a defeat.

Should they lose, Forest will only be one point behind the Rams and the door will be opened for other sides in the Championship to take advantage.

It's a fierce test for McClaren's men, who have struggled to find consistency at times this season, but on the back of five consecutive victories they will fancy their chances of securing three points once again and continuing the promotion charge.

To do that, McClaren's tactics must be spot-on and players coming off the bench will be as important as the eleven selected to start.

If Derby use these two players as impact substitutes, then the Rams will have a huge chance of victory.

Abdoul Camara

The 26-year-old attacking midfield has had to settle with a bit-part role in Derby's squad this season, making all of his three appearances off the bench.

With his last Championship game coming way back in August, Camara isn't ready to start here.

Camara hasn't had the chance to make too much of an impression since arriving at the club from French football this summer, but a solid performance in the derby would be the perfect start to him becoming a regular within the side.

Andreas Weimann

Making ten appearances in all competitions this season, providing two assists and scoring twice, Weimann is the definition of an impact player.

With his statistics, the Austrian could be a potential match winner when coming off the bench.

Whilst his two goals have come in the EFL Trophy, the performances show he has a part to play within the squad, albeit not as a starter just yet.

If he can transfer his performances from the cup into the league, then Derby could get the three points they're looking for.
