QPR have been one of the surprise packages of the Championship so far this season, with Steve McClaren doing a fine job.

Many were surprised to see the former England manager replace Ian Holloway and it looked like he had a tough job on his hands given the limited resources to work with.

Those concerns were justified initially, with QPR getting off to an awful start that included a 7-1 hammering at West Brom.

However, a few astute signings, combined with hard work on shape and discipline and the R's are 10th in the table and just two points from the play-offs.

Whether they can kick-on remains to be seen but with no new signings allowed in January it will be tough.

So, whilst the rest of the division panic, things should be quiet at Loftus Road in the New Year, although we still expect a few outgoings as the board try to reduce the wage bill.

Here we look at TWO players who will surely move on in the winter window...

The midfielder is way down the pecking order and hasn't played a league game for the team this season and doesn't even make the matchday squad normally.

When he was given an opportunity earlier in the season he didn't impress either, playing 66 minutes as the R's lost to Blackpool in the League Cup.

Therefore, we expect the former Manchester United youngster to seek regular football in January away from QPR.

Guinea forward Sylla is another who fails to make the matchday squad and is sure to leave.

He arrived with a lot of excitement from Anderlecht a few years ago but he has struggled for consistency in the Championship.

With Tomer Hemed, Nahki Wells and Matt Smith ahead of him, and perhaps others, the 27-year-old has no chance of getting a game and would be better looking for a move.
