Who would want to be a Bantam right now? Last season went from joy to disaster, with club legend Stuart McCall's sacking and the club's complete collapse.

Simon Grayson couldn't stop the rot and just a handful of wins after Christmas meant they got to knock off for the summer with everyone else, rather than being involved in the play-offs. It was a disappointment for the fans, especially after the early season promise.

Grayson went on his way too, neither party seemingly too bothered by the parting of ways. Now, relative unknown Michael Collins is in charge, stepping up from the U18s to the senior team.

He's got a big job on his hands, sifting through the deadwood left behind from last season's capitulation, but also in adding the right faces to complement those who do have value.

It's a tightrope, that is for sure. here's four things FLW think should be high on Collins agenda.

McCarten was a relatively big-money buy from Accrington Stanley, but his move simply hasn't worked out. He's not a bad footballer, but he doesn't seem to be a fit with the Bantams.

Another flop, Dominic Poleon, has already moved on. McCarten shouldn't be too far behind him.

Collins must hang on to Charlie Wyke, he has to do whatever it takes to ensure the star strikers goes nowhere.

Peterborough have allegedly made a bid, moving him on to a rival would be a PR disaster, not to mention hugely detrimental to the club.

Relationships between the fans and club have been somewhat fractious in recent months, the new manager must find a way to build the bond back up.

The best route would be via a few wins, but he needs to do something if that isn't possible.

O'Donnell is coming into a heated environment, especially after the release of fan's favourite Colin Doyle.

It's thought Doyle was told via Twitter that he was being released, something the fans were unhappy with. O'Donnell isn't to blame, but one mistake early on could turn the crowd against him very quickly.
