Sheffield United are looking to make it back-to-back wins at Bramall Lane this week when they host Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side were 2-1 winners against Sunderland at The Lane on Wednesday night, with Anel Ahmedhodzic excelling in his overlapping centre-back role.

That means it is two wins in two for Sheffield United on home soil this season, with the Blades up into fourth already. Once their away form catches up, they should be in a strong position to kick on and challenge for the top-two.

For now, though, it’s about continuing a fine home record against Blackburn this Saturday.

As our graphic below shows, it’s difficult to imagine changes in personnel for this game:

Wes Foderingham will be in goal, whilst a back-three of Rhys Norrington-Davies, John Egan and Ahmedhodzic offers incredible balance in defence and attack.

The width comes from Max Lowe - another goalscorer on Wednesday - and the ever reliable George Baldock.

Oliver Norwood will continue in his usual pivot, whilst it’s hard to imagine Heckingbottom dropping Sander Berge. James McAtee is the player that could perhaps make way for a John Fleck or Tommy Doyle, yet it might be worth having another look at the Man City loanee following his hour against Sunderland.

Iliman Ndiaye looks to be Heckingbottom’s go-to, with Rhian Brewster feeling the best fit to lead the line as Oli McBurnie works his way back to fitness.
