Nottingham Forest were handed their second defeat in three days as they were comprehensively beaten 2-0 by Bournemouth last night and many Reds fans have been left furious at the performance of Jack Colback.

Two goals from Junior Stanislas ensured Chris Hughton's men left the South Coast empty-handed, with the 30-year-old sliding the ball past Brice Samba to put the Cherries one up inside the first five minutes and then converting a penalty just after half time.

Colback was at fault for the spot-kick, clumsily bringing down Dominic Solanke, and was part of a midfield three that were unable to give their side enough control in the middle of the park.

The 31-year-old joined Forest as a free agent in the summer but has been unable to recapture the form he showed while on loan at the City Ground a few seasons ago.

Last night's performance was a dismal one for many of Hughton's squad but Colback appears to have caught the attention of many Reds supporters.
