Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has named midfielder Ben Osborn in his side to face Olympiakos in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Premier League new boys Sheffield United with Forest prepared to sell the midfielder for the right price, according to Nottinghamshire Live.

The Blades have reportedly made an unsuccessful offer worth £3million to land Osborn, but the Reds are preparing themselves for another bid from Chris Wilder’s side.

However, it now appears there has been no further progression on the move, with Osborn set to line up in the Reds’ midfield for their second pre-season friendly of the Greece trip.

Forest confirmed Osborn’s selection when they shared the starting line-up via Twitter on Tuesday evening:
