Matt Grimes not interested in leaving Exeter City

Exeter City’s wonderkid Matt Grimes is not interested in moving away from St James Park – for the time being, writes the Daily Express.
The 18-year-old is attracting interest from Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Sunderland.
Championship club Nottingham Forest are also said to be monitoring Grimes.
But the midfielder, who played a key part in Exeter’s League Two survival, is paying no attention to the rumours and insists he is just concentrating on playing regular football.
However, the youngster did admit he would be open to a move to a top club – but only when the time is right.
“It is pleasing that my performances are getting noticed, but it is all just rumours,” he said
“I have just got to focus on next season at Exeter because I have not heard anything. Nothing has been said to me directly.
“I want to play as high as I can and I’m not going to turn down opportunities to play for England or play for a higher club if it is right, but at the moment I just need to focus on doing what is right in my head and that is staying at Exeter City.
“I need to keep my head down and keep doing what I have done in the last year.”
