Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich took to Twitter on Tuesday to send one simple message to the fans, and seemingly the officials, after a 3-2 win over Millwall.

United found themselves 2-0 down after 23 minutes when Jed Wallace converted a penalty for the Lions, giving United a mountain to climb.

Leeds players and fans were convinced that the ball had gone out of play in the build up to the penalty being awarded, but the play wasn't stopped and Millwall won the penalty.

This sparked a backlash from both the crowd and the players, with Mateusz Klich and Liam Cooper having words with the referee at the half-time whistle.

Following Leeds' comeback, Klich took to Twitter to express his feelings on the evening's events, simply writing 'JUSTICE' on his personal Twitter account.

Leeds had also seen a goal kick given to Millwall after Bart Bialkowski seemingly tipped a Stuart Dallas effort round the post, much to the bemusement of the United players.

Klich himself did have a chance to wrap the game up for United, but squandered a perfect opportunity to make the score 4-2 from just eight yards out.

At the full time whistle, the 29-year-old appeared to say something to referee Darren England before heading off to celebrate the victory with his teammates.

The result ended United's four game run without a win and moved the side back to the top of the Championship.

Leeds will look to stretch the gap to third when they host struggling Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

The Verdict

After watching the replays it's no surprise that the United players felt frustrated with the fact the play was allowed to continue after the ball went out, and the save from the goalkeeper that was given as a goal kick.

The ball certainly crossed the line in the lead up to the penalty but United must learn to play to the whistle in the future.

Mateusz Klich seemed one of the more aggrieved players at both half time and full time, and appeared to have strong words with the officials at the end of the game.

The 29-year-old should exercise caution, however, before taking to social media in frustration.

Leeds fans will remember last season when Pontus Jansson was banned for insulting a referee on TV after their 1-1 draw with Brentford, and whilst I doubt Klich will receive a similar punishment, he should be wary in future to try to contain his post match emotions.
