Leeds United avoided a cup upset on Tuesday evening, as they comfortably swept aside League Two side, Salford City at Moor Lane.

Goals from Eddie Nketiah, Gaetano Berardi and Mateusz Klich proved to be enough for Marcelo Bielsa's side as they booked their spot in the next round of the Carabao Cup.

Klich's goal in particular stood out in the win, as he latched onto a long ball, before curling the ball into the back of the net from distance to secure the win.

Klich is likely to be one of the first names in the starting XI at the moment, and he's been gaining high-praise from Leeds supporters after his impressive start to the season.

He'll have to be at his best throughout this year's campaign as well, as competition for places is fiercely competitive in Marcelo Bielsa's team.

Leeds will now turn their attentions back to the Championship, as they prepare for their potentially tricky away trip to Wigan Athletic this weekend.

It will be a game where Klich and his Leeds team-mates will be expected to pick up another win to build on their strong start to the season.

The Verdict:

He's really impressed me so far this season.

I know it's still in the early stages of this year's campaign, but Klich has shown that he is going to be a key player for the Whites as they look to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.

He seems to have found an extra yard of pace as well, which was clear to see in his magnificent goal against Salford on Tuesday to cap off a strong performance from Bielsa's side.
