Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich and Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki have linked-up with the Poland national team this week and the former has shared a photograph of the pair.

Both players have experienced decent starts to the season and it was Klich who shared the photograph on his Instagram story along with a simple, two-word caption.

Writing alongside the photo, he said: "Championship talk".

Klich has retained his place as a regular in the Leeds United team, playing all six of their Championship matches so far and providing one assist.

Grosicki too has been an ever present for Grant McCann's Tigers, scoring one goal with the club taking up one of the mid-table roles.

Leeds, on the other hand, topped the Championship table after five matches and looked to be back to their best, although they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Swansea last weekend to send them tumbling down to third-place.

After the international break they travel to Barnsley as they look to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

The verdict

I am sure Hull and Leeds fans will both be looking at this photo and praying that no injuries are incurred by their respective stars.

Both have become crucial members of their sides and will no doubt continue to be for the rest of the campaign.

For Klich especially, however, you suspect that he may be happy to get out from under the intense microscope that is life at Leeds United - for a short period at least.
