Mateusz Klich was one of several Leeds United players to attend the premiere of 'Take Us Home' last night and the midfielder was clearly in a good mood as he turned up on the red carpet.

The 29-year-old was one of several Leeds players and special guests to attend the premiere of the highly-anticipated six-part documentary series, ahead of its launch on Amazon Prime Video on Friday.

The midfielder - who was an important player for Leeds last season - was having a joke and a laugh with the media on the red carpet, putting his arm around his imaginary plus-one as he posed for photographs.

The documentary will tell the story of Leeds' remarkable first season under Marcelo Bielsa, which ultimately ended in heartbreak against Derby County in the Championship play-offs.

Klich was an extremely influential player for Leeds last season, scoring ten goals and providing nine assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.

The midfielder - who was Leeds' only ever-present in the Championship last term - opened his account for the new season with a goal in the 3-0 win over Salford City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

The Verdict

Klich was an extremely important player for Leeds last season and is a big character in the dressing room at Elland Road.

I'm sure Leeds fans will find his antics from the premiere last night very amusing, but joking aside, he's going to have another key role to play for the team this season.

Leeds are favourites to challenge for automatic promotion this campaign and it's important that the players are able to learn from what happened in the play-offs at the end of last season and use it as motivation to make sure it doesn't happen again.
